What We Do
We provide high-quality resources and programs for teachers, students, and the general public. Our programs include teacher professional development workshops and in-person activities at the Museum of the Earth and the Cayuga Nature Center in Ithaca, NY. Our resources include The Teacher-Friendly Guide to Climate Change, YouTube videos, exhibits at our public venues, online resources on Earth@Home, and more.

Teacher Professional Development
We teach teachers. The Center for Climate Change Education at PRI efficiently reaches over 1,000 teachers nationwide each year by working with a wide variety of educators, who in turn reach thousands of students. We offer workshops, activities, videos, and assistance with curriculum development. We will tailor workshops to help you teach about climate change past, present, and future, and about topics such as energy systems, climate change solutions, and biological responses to climate change. For information contact our Director of Teacher Programming at teacherPD@priweb.org.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide and support action-oriented climate change education everywhere. We believe that humanity faces a climate emergency, and that action-oriented education is fundamental to addressing this emergency.
