Resilience Hub

In 2024 the Paleontological Research Institution began a project to become a Resilience Hub for our local Ithaca community in the face of more extreme weather. The climate in Tompkins County, NY is changing, bringing increased threats from extreme rainfall and flooding, extreme heat, and wildfires and wildfire smoke, among other hazards.

This project is supported by Cornell University's Atkinson Center for Sustainability and the Park Foundation. To learn more about the Atkinson Center's support, see this funding notice and news article.
